This section covers the Cheats available in Neverwinter Nights 2. Whether you want to manipulate your Single Player Game or use certain Cheats (Dungeon Master Commands) to enhance your online experience.
Debug Mode means exactly what it says: it is an in-game console used for debugging errors in NWN and NWN2. BUT... It is also used widely as a cheating or game-hacking station. You can max out stats, reconfigure your 2da files, add/remove companions and pretty much anything else you would like. Here is a list of codes i have prepared with some examples and descriptions as to what it does.
All these console commands can be used at any point during game play. For British keyboards use the (`) key, For American keyboards use the (~) key, then type the following:-
(all < > marks around an x are NOT to be used in console)
DebugMode
Code: DebugMode (Where is a number used to activate or deactivate DebugMode) Description: This function will allow user to gain advanced control of Debugging commands
For example to turn debug mode on, hit the ‘~’ key and type the following: DebugMode 1
To turn debug mode off again, hit the ‘~’ key and type the following: DebugMode 0
Note: there should be a space between DebugMode and 1 (or 0)
showfps
Usage: showfps Description: This function will allow user to see his framerate in top left of his screen
Dungeon Master Commands for cheating
rs
Usage: rs (Where is the name of the script file desired to run) Description: This function will trigger the desired script
To use these following commands you have to right click the desired character that is to recieve the command and then enter Debug Mode
Important Note: Players do not have access to this command if playing on a server that does not allow it.
SetSTR X
Usage: SetSTR (Where X is a number used to specify what strength value you require) Description: This function will allow user to set the selected character's strength to a certain value (50 max in NWN2)
SetDEX
Usage: SetDEX X (Where X is a number used to specify what dexterity value you require) Description: This function will allow user to set the selected character's dexterity to a certain value (50 max in NWN2)
SetCON
Usage: SetCON X (Where X is a number used to specify what constitution value you require) Description: This function will allow user to set the selected character's constitution to a certain value (50 max in NWN2)
SetINT
Usage: SetINT X (Where X is a number used to specify what intelligence value you require) Description: This function will allow user to set the selected character's intelligence to a certain value (50 max in NWN2)
SetWIS
Usage: SetWIS X (Where X is a number used to specify what wisdom value you require) Description: This function will allow user to set the selected character's wisdom to a certain value (50 max in NWN2)
SetCHA
Usage: SetCHA (Where X is a number used to specify what charisma value you require) Description: This function will allow user to set the selected character's charisma to a certain value (50 max in NWN2)
dm_god
Usage: dm_god (Where is a number used to activate or deactivate DebugMode) Description: This function will activate or deactivate god mode for selected character
For example to turn god mode on, hit the ‘~’ key and type the following: dm_god 1
To turn god mode off again, hit the ‘~’ key and type the following: dm_god 0
Note: there should be a space between dm_god and 1 (or 0)
dm_givegold
Usage: dm_givegold XXX (Where XXX is a number used to specify the amount of gold you require) Description: This function will allow user to give the selected character the desired amount of gold
irolltwenties
Usage: irolltwenties Description: This function will set all skills, stats and variables to 20 for the desired character (CAUTION: When using this command the character will NOT be able to level up afterwards)
giveitem
Usage: giveitem XXXXX (Where XXXXX is the tag of the item you require) Description: This function will allow user to give the selected character the desired item
givefeat
Usage: givefeat XXXX (Where XXXX is the code of the feat you require) Description: This function will allow user to give the selected character the desired feat
removefeat
Usage: removefeat XXXX (Where XXXX is the code of the feat you wish to remove) Description: This function will allow user to remove the desired feat from the selected character
To Reroll Reroll Character (Don't work if Multi classed) DebugMode 1 Right Click on Char givexp -8541 (check my character and it is now 0) ResetLevels (Says something like character now level 1) givexp 8541 (Says you can level up) Debugmode 0
And to set Influence (OC) DebugMode 1 Left click on the chosen character! Type: rs kr_influence Debugmode 0
to set Influence (MotB)
rs ka_influence_set(NPC, value) (value from -75 to 100) or rs ka_influence_magnitude ("NPC", +5) (using -5 to +5) instead of NPC: (safiya/gann/dove/okku/oneofmany)
+1 translates to in-game influence of +6; +2 as +11; +3 as +15; +4 as +25; +5 counts as +35
To change your alignment at the console, enter:
rs ga_alignment(1,1) to move one point towards Law
rs ga_alignment(-1,1) to move one point towards Chaos
rs ga_alignment(1,0) to move one point towards good
rs ga_alignment(-1,0) to move one point towards evil
the first number in the parenthesis can changed to a 1, 2, 3 or 4 (positive or negative). a 2 or -2 will move you 3 points...a 3 or -3 will move you 10 points...and a 4 or -4 will move to 70 points.
so if you're Lawful Good and want to be Chaotic Evil...
