Cannot trade for mithral. Help?

I need mithral for a few of my quests, and from what I read Highcliff should be trading it to me, but... they're not. It's not an option. Do I need to do a quest for them to trade it with me or is it a bug? And if it's a bug, is there a console command to fix it/give me the resource? This is driving me mad.

All of your questions are actually answered in the SOZ Trading guide (either in part 1 or part 2). But here's the rundown:

1) No quest is required to open a trading post in Highcliff. Once the trading post is open, you should be able to trade for Mithral in Highcliff. Rare resources are replenished over time, but it's not a fast process.

2) If you already have a trading post in Highcliff, you haven't bought any Mithral yet, and you're still not getting Mithral then it's likely a bug. If you HAVE bought Mithral, then it may simply be a slow replenishment.

3) Check page 2 of the SOZ trading guide. The console commands to cheat in resources are all listed along with the proper resources codes. Just make sure that you have the space in your trading inventory.
