What's the difference between these Warlock invocations?
Wasn't sure where to put this. If you check these two invocations, can anyone tell me how they differ other than LEVEL?
Draining Blast
Invocation Type: Least;
Eldritch Essence Spell Level Equivalent: 2
In addition to normal eldritch blast damage, the draining blast forces any creature struck to make a Will save or become slowed. A slowed creature moves and attacks at a drastically reduced rate, taking a -1 penalty on attack rolls, AC, and Reflex saves and moving at half its normal speed. Multiple slow effects don't stack. This invocation counters and dispels haste.
Hindering Blast
Invocation Type: Greater;
Eldritch Essence Spell Level Equivalent: 4
You transform your eldritch blast into a hindering blast. Any living creature struck by a hindering blast must succeed on a Will save or be slowed for 1 round in addition to the normal damage from the blast.
Both do normal damage. In fact, the lower level Draining Blast seems to be more powerful, possibly, since it mentions no limit to the slow effect. Both call for a will save. So am I missing something here? Are these different? Is this a mistake somewhere?
