Title says it basicly. I am unable to trade with the towns. When i click on "trade with x" it opens the menu, i can see what i have in my cart, i can see what they are offering, etc. But i cant click the sell quantity buttons. when i press them they just stay depressed but nothing happens.

This may require some simple fix, like, is there a specific part of the storyline i have to get passed in order to trade? Sofar, all i have done is completed the investigation of the wreck and found the captain.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I do have the mod for better romances installed for the OC / MotB ... could those be causing a problem?

I was looking at the item database for crafting supplies and several of the entries have a number in parentheses. For example, "Jacoby (CK) (25), NWN9(50)" or "Simmy (3), Fibba (3)."

These numbers have no explanation on the page but they look suspiciously like quantities. However, the listed merchants have no where near those quantities in their stock so, do they restock after you buy the 1 or 2 showing in their stock? Maybe they will continue restocking until they have reached the limit of (25) or (50)?

EDIT: Ah, I found the explanation HERE. That IS a quantity, but it's the quantity of gold coins you get from pickpocketing the listed merchant. Well, Here's my problem. I'm trying to manually update my game, i can't use the nwupdater because my internet connection is pretty iffy sometimes (sometimes it works sometimes it dosen't) so i downloaded all the patch files at a buddies house threw them on a usb stick to install them at home. and from my understanding to install them you put the zip file in the nwn2 file directory(unzipped) then run the updater offline and it updates each one for you.

however this isn't working, so im wondering am i doing something wrong? perhaps missing a step? I've done numerious google searches and searches here on the forums and all im finding is people saying they've had this same problem but only very vague solutions to it or there solution is the one im useing, and apperently it isn't working for me (or im doing it wrong).
