MotB Plot Problemo [potential Spoilers!]

I'll try to put this as clear as possible for those who know and as unintelligible as possible for those who don't :D


I can't find the instructors quarters nor the corresponding staircase in the academy. Does anyone have any hint on how to get there?

BUT I can tell that there will be some suprising story arcs from the first OC coming to a close here :D *great*

Well, there are two staircases on every floor.
On the "Classroom" floor there is one to the "Instructors quarters", the stairway is just opposite "Porusets Laboratory"
Also there is one stairway to "The headmistress's tower" at the end of the hall to the north-west, but the door can not be opened from this side if i remember correctly.
On every floor there are 2 staircases leading to the other 2 floors.
The archways were black and the rooms unexplored for me, so you might have to walk through them using "w, a, s, d" to enter. So dont look for obvious doors ;)

You may be experienceing something that happened to me a couple times. In going back and forth, trying to work on another bug, I did notice that a couple times, the first time I entered the academy the stairs going down were blackened out, and nothing seemed to help. I would have to go baclk to an earlier save and do it again. Usually the second time, it would be ok.

Well the doorways were blackened for me, but using w, a, s, d to walk through the archways worked fine for me.

I had the same problem with the doorway being blacked out. I am one of those players who hates looking at walkthroughs or using cheatcodes or whatever. Just wanted to say that using the w,a,s,d keys to walk through the door worked great . I had tried restarts, reinstalls, everything I could think of. I spent over 4 hours trying to figure out how to get through that black area or find another way before i looked on the threads lol. Thanks Reekish, would have never got it without cha!

I had this same issue and used this technique. Using the w.a.s.d keys did the trick :)

Yeah, it took me a bit to figure that one out also. LOL What a pain.

So do I!! LOL But writing one is neat. You learn all kinds of little tricks and discover a lot of different things and ways of playing certain areas. Forums are the best though. You can solve your problem without having to learn too much.
