It's looking like the US is going to get MotB on October 9th. That date has been rock soild and unwavering for a while.
There is some speculation on when Europe is going to ge it. September 28th in being bandied about for European release but the Atari Deutschland site says October 11th. Any of our European members have any information on what the stores over there are saying?
The original release date for Europe was 9/28. Then a while back, Atari came out and said that they were having problems with it, and would have to hold off releasing it till 10/11. About 7-10 days ago, Atari came back and said things are working out better then they expected and where putting the original date back in effect. And as of right now, I can't find any info saying different. There are a few sites still saying 10/9 or 10/11, but most have the 9/28 date. If you see anything different, post a link. Make sure it's from Bioware or Atari.
Eh, last time I checked it just said October... but that was at the beginning of this month. I guess I gotta install NWN2 and play through it again fast... I reformatted my computer....haha.
Though I've not looked for any official word from Atari etc. all the UK games store sites I've seen over here say 28th Sept.
I'll most likely just go buy it from a shop when it's out, can't be bothered with the pre-ordering...

The subject of the release date in Europe at the present seems to be up for grabs. lol There are more rumors about when the release will be, then stars in the sky. And more are started every 15 minutes. But there is one thing that every body is agreeing on. Atari is not doing anything about it. In the official forums it's a free-for-all. And Bioware/Atari isn't saying a word. So right now, the release date is somewhere between 9/28 and the end of the universe as we know it. This is getting better by the moment. Needless to say, the European fans are not happy. Can't blame them.

Edit: about the 9/28 European release date, I don't see how a game developed in English could be released earlier in another language...

Good point about the languages. I have to agree. I don't see how Europe gets the game before the USA does. :)
Yes, we the American people are freaking awsome! Our president just sucks... Anyway, Amazon lists it as Oct. 9th. I dunno if I can get through the OC as well as I did last time by then... Oh well.

Witcher was designed by CDProjekt which is a Polish company with offices throughout EUrope. Atari is doing the distribution ......
Speaking of location... Kgambit, are you paranoid? :p Lol. But anyhow yes... I went to the UK amazon and it indeed says Sept. 28. :confused: That's messed up seing as both Atari and Obsidian are North American companies stationed in the U.S.

Atari is world wide. Plus we got the OC first. They are probably being diplomatic.

o thats right. i decied to buy it cause its out everywere else and discover i have to wait 26 days for release.
