ok, so ive never played with any of the patches as, being a regular here, i have noticed trends in other peoples problems, a few that where complained about only happend after patching, and there has been a few reasonably big problems.

i conversed with someone at some point about how i believed that the patches added features and broke the game, creating bugs, and apparently they thought the same thing. so i thought i would ask about how stable everyone thinks the latest ("stable" release) patch is as i have frequented the boards less and so have not read any patch discussion or bug people asking for help because of bugs.

did they finally fix all those bugs they put in or are people still using console fixes to get passed bits? have any new problems come up?

Interesting question. From what I have seen here and on the official forums, a fair percentage of the recent posts with problems appear to be from new users who have just installed the game and have not autopatched to the latest v1.06. I'm curious as to what new bugs people believe the v1.06 patch has introduced, or failed to solve after the v1.04 and v1.05 patch.

Personally, I am still playing under v1.03  Its been incredibly stable with almost no bug problems (aside from the obviously broken crafting recipes and the reoccuring Guyven bug). I shied away from v1.04 and v1.05 because they both appeared to have serious flaws based on the beta patches.

what about that big flaw with the stones on that level before you get teleported back to the place that you start in?
i thought the 1.03 patch broke that bit so you couldn't use the first stone.

as far as stability goes the game was totally not playable for me with version 1.0 and 1.2 with 1.3 it went up in stability bigtime and after version 1.4 I have not experienced any stability issues any more.
