I have a question. I hope someone can give me an answer. I seem to remmeber, back at the first meeting with Duncan at the tavern. Him saying that I could stash things there if I wanted to. But so far, I can't find anywhere to put anything. Can someone help me out here please.

I've been trying to figure that out myself. Best option i can see is just toss the items on one of the work benches in the back room, or throw the items in the inventory of one of the companions you don't use...(walk out the door, selecting them into your party, once outside give them the items, then walk back indoors... while not practical, or time efficient, it works...)

A chest will appear after the "trial". It will appear next to the front door. It contains Lornes belongings. Wether this is what Duncan meant, I don't know.

What I do is just drop it all on the floor in the private room. Not very organized or easy to handle, but it works. The only time so far that the items were not where I left them was when the sunken flagon came under attack. But after the quest was over and i returned to the room they were still there

As mentioned before, you can use the workbenches also. They really should have several places to store things. So you could put weapons in one, armor in another, etc.

one note on this... This will only work up until you get the keep, and for a little bit after during act2... Because in act3 you loose access to the Docks district and the Sunken Flagon... But you can just toss all your stuff onto Khelgar, get him a belt of giant strenth + the gloves of Ironfist he should have by now... and move them over to the crafting benches and such in the Keep... and there's alot more hiding spots there... hehe

Had the same problem. Either the chest was inadvertently left out or Duncan has precognition and just KNOWS that you are going to beat Lorne. :D

There are a couple of magic bags available but they are minor (only -20% and
-40%). If you have the pre-sale collectors editin with the Bonus Merchant, you will be able to buy a greater magical bag from him (-80% weight) in chapter two.

But unless Obsidian fixes the missing chest in a patch, your best bet is to follow the two suggestions offered. Dump all of the items you wish to store onto a "pack-mule" character and leave him at the flagon, or store them in the workbenches. At least until you whip Lorne's sorry butt. :)

best i can do for you is give you the item code for the bag of holding , use at your own discretion

Thanks, but I'll muddle through without it somehow. I'll just have to toss a saddle on Khelgar and make him into a pack dwarf. That is going to cost me some major influence (unless Khelgar is into that sort of thing)!
