Josh Sawyer, formerly of Black Isle and now working for Obsidian, is currently working on a NWN2 module called "The Black Hound". Given Josh's talent, this promises to be a great mod.

Here are some details:

http://theblackhound.googlepages .com/ (http://theblackhound.googlepages .com/)

The module has an interesting history. Read the article here (http://www.gamebanshee.com/interviews/theblackhound1.php) for more details. :D

You can also monitor an on-line discussion of the mod at the Obsidian foums here (http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=45749&st=225) .

Here's some concept art (http://picasaweb.google.com/duke.sammael/ProjectJeffersonArt) I managed to find from the original Jefferson project.

Unless I am mistaken, that's by Justin Sweet - the same artist who did a lot of artwork for IWD and IWD2. :D

I haven't seen anything from Josh on this in a LONG while, so I'm wondering if the project is still alive.

I've heard things...but they contradict each other.

I believe the community still has great interest in this, but concrete information is hard to come by.

I know, no help at all. :pissed:

Contradictory information here as well, but Josh's silence speaks volumes me thinks. :(

Edit:

Somehow I managed to overlook a post by Josh dated in February 2008 on the Obsidian forums. According to that post he is indeed still working on it, but RL demands are making it slow going. :D

Nope, this (SoZ) doesn't have anything to do with The Black Hound. I haven't worked on TBH in a while, in part because I've been busy and also because I've been waiting for some of the goodies that SoZ is delivering (scriptable list boxes, overland map, etc.).

It's still coming, but it's set in the Dalelands, will use a revised d20-based ruleset, is in a very low level range, and has companions instead of a full player-built party.
