View Full Version : PW names
We're looking for names for a new PW. So put on your thinking caps and post your ideas here. Later, a vote will be taken and one name will be chosen.

I like the idea of a PW loosely based on this (except using D&D rules): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Realmz There is plenty of background info and vast numbers of quests, areas, characters and so on to use. since it's not a D&D setting it means you don't have to stick to D&D rules and an existing world will save a lot of time when having to decide the background.
Server name could be called "RealmZ", module name would be "City of Bywater" or the location/name of the module. Leter as it expands it could develop into additional modules if needed. The server name is nice and simple.
If the name is already in use then something else that's nice and simple but you could still use the same setting or take bits from it.

are you looking for ideas as well as names?
as it always helps to know what you are naming when you name it.
Okay people, let's use our imaginations here. We don't want to clone someone else's idea, or make a name similair to something else. Let's be unique and original.
The PW is not a single fixed story. So it really doesn't matter what the name is, or what the PW is about. With our PW, the story can change with the style of gameplay.
So just give us some original names that we can choose from. Such as;
Tales of Oridius.
Legends of Baalfar.
Beyond Treadstorm.
Hallstrom's Bane.
We are looking to make a new and unique PW, and we want the name to reflect that.

Lurchander, ehh? Homage of Lurchman?
Land of Dragon Kings
Return to Golden Water
How about naming it Winston or maybe Glockenspiel? I have also always liked the name "Ribauld," so you could name it Ribauld Reach or something silly.
