I know there is a way to customize your browzer (colors, font, etc) Sadly enough, I would have to wait till my geeky husband gets home to show me the steps on "how to" change this. If no one else has posted the steps how to do this by the time he gets home. I'll get detailed steps from him on this and post them.

think he means the forum itselfs display options. some forums will give several options on how they look, and it will set which one you want with a cookie.

In the top menu pick <tools> <Internet options>

Click on <Accessibility options> at the bottom of the menu that comes up

Checkmark the appropriate boxes for what options you want

Click on <OK>

Click on <Colors>

Either use windows colors or uncheck the box <use windows colors> and
select the colors you want

Click on <OK>

Click on <OK>

The settings changes should take place immediately

PS: You can use this to override a specific site and no others. You will see where u can "check" the appropriate box" Good luck,

if the website or the forum is too dark for you. try turning up the brightness. if its still too dark then it must be your monitor. perhaps you have an old one.

i have tried on several monitors now. the colors are ok and its not too dark at all.

What server/provider are you using for the forum base?

The forum is a licensed version of vbulletin - this is not free and has to be paid for - the CMS is mkportal.

I'm usually the one that makes any modifications to the site design/bug fixes for it, as Cals1 said, the site should not be appearing too dark, i've tested the design on various monitors and it has been fine on all of them. I have also run various web-checks on the site and all have indicated that the current colour scheme is fine.

As for skins, we are not planning on adding more any time soon, but maybe at some point in the future.

Cheers,
Ben
