Stuck at the start of Act 3 (Castle Never, SPOILERS)

I'm stuck at castle never. Specifically, the shadow reaver just won't die! I finished the statues quest, and went up to the throne room area. There was the cut scene where Lord Nasher said to wait for reinforcements, then it cut back to me. Then i went and opened the door to the throne room, fought the shadow reaver until he was 0 hp, and HE STILL WON'T DIE! Can anyone give me any help?

I can't remember right off the top of my head, but are you far enough in the game to have gotten the True Names for the Reavers? If so, you need to use the Scroll on the Reaver so that they die.

It's right at the start of Act 3. No one has told me anything about any scroll of true names, and i'm stuck inside the castle until i can rescue lord nasher and kill the stupid unkillable shadow reaver

A few things.

1. Are you sure he is at 0 health? It may look like his bar is gone but he still may have some health.

2. Have you tried killing him with the knighting sword or whatever, perhaps the game requires you to kill him with that.

3. Nothing else but I know you dont need the true name scroll because I just did it like a couple of hours ago. I dont remember him doing anything special. I just bashed him untill he died.
