View Full Version : Act III Stuck on Koraborus
So I'm in act III and Jerro left the keep so I followed him. I find him at his Grand Daughter's farm and the demon from his haven shows up and a fight starts.
Can't figure out how to beat him and it's driving me crazy, I'm guessing I'm missing a particular spell combo or kill sequence or something.
Can anyone give me a pointer? I'm on attempt 4.

Are you using any of the melee henchman in your party? The dwarf for example? If you have him well equiped I'd take control over him to beat on the demon. Then have the spell casters stand back and do there thing. Just a theory anyway. I never play any mage type. I like melee. I stink at using a mage! hehe
Good luck

Yeah my main is a ranger and I have the dwarf but it just doesn't seem to be doing anything too him and he continually summons pit fiends and succubi. Guess I'll go through and reset the dwarf's equipment and see if that will help.

This is completely imho, I would be sure to focus on killing him only and not the pit fiends and succubi. You may be doing that anyway. But if you take him down, they spawn no longer :)
If your already doing this, my apologies :)

I found that using the 'light powers' you receive really takes it out of our large demon friend. I rushed him with my main character and the paladin, then released the 'nova' and 'chain' abilities, followed by the 'shield' and 'soothing light'. All the while I pounded him with greater missle storms from Qara and Sand.
He fell in under a minute.
It also helps if you can cast 'Haste' and either 'Stone skin' or 'Bark skin' on your fighters before the fight starts. Stop just before where the conversation is triggered and cast off all your buff spells, then go foward and enjoy the chaos.
Ok using those powers really helped, I was able to get him the next time I tried.
Thanks for all the pointers folks.
