Need Help - Killed Black Garius - **Spoilers**

Okay, so I'm at what I think is the final final battle. My compatriots have turned on me, I killed everyone, and the King of Shadows portal thing is glowing fiery blue.

But nothing's happening.. can't bash the statues, doing the rituals near them doesn't do anything. I can't leave the room, and I've waited prob 30 minutes waiting for this bad guy to appear through the portal, but nothing...

I'm stuck.. how to I get the King of Shadows to "appear" and get it on?

I think what I did was went upto the portal and touched it.

I've walked through it a dozen times.. nothing gets triggered or set off. Hmm.. sounds like a bug. Restart from an earlier save and go through it again I suppose..

I'm at the same point now and having the same problem. It won't let you touch the portal and the statues around it don't seem to help either ... just sitting around waitin for something to happen.

hrmm that is really wierd. I would think that possibly some1 died in an odd way near the portal so its blocking you from actually activating it. But what is supposed to happen is that you just have to touch it, like you would to open a door.

No, I had the same problem. Move your mouse pointer near the dark portal on the ground. You will see the star icon, which also appears on chests you can open. Then click. This will activate the next sequence and the big bad King of Shadows will appear.

AHH.. that could be it.. Garius died right under the blasted thing. Oh well.. restart and have another huge fight...

Oh do what this guy suggested. Because that is infact what I tried first. And when I did it I didnt even realize I had a problem but I did what this guy did.

Like he said try clicking the bottom of the portal, just take your mouse and scroll over the portal untill you get the icon.

lol, think ive worked it out.

when you move your mouse over it nothing happens, you get a normal walk, when i eventually got it working the portal was actually a really big object, and so anyone say that garuis died over the thing is wrong.
i think there is a bug with the camera mode.
who is using driving cam, and who is using another?
who did it work for?

i couldnt get it to work in driving cam mode (havent been able to play chase cam since the kotor games) so i thought, maby its a positioning and perspective error, and changed to topdown. i emediantly was able to select the portal, and judging by the glow it gave when highlighted and i was holding the z button, it was a large object, so just change the viewing mode (i use the menus to do this, but i think the button is num+ or num* or something)
