need to know how to use song portal

I am doin the purification ruitural an have got three done (the gem mine, temple of seasons, riverguard keep) cant work the one just as you enter the aera, or the song portal am I missing something

the song portal opens when you have completed the first 4 rituals... your supposed to get the one at the start first... but i dont know how much that mattes

that must be it, the statue say can not use while in combat

I have the same problem!! That's why I'm online instead of playing the game, trying to find answers. LOL

my other guess would be an enemy in a place you cant see/getto(lol people getting pushed of the map)

common bug that people are running into. I'm sure that obsidian is aware of it...hopefully. My suggestion, and it's a pain in the ***... is to get that first statue AS SOON as you zone into that area. otherwise you wont be able to get it later at all...

I have the same problem.

So far I got a few suggestions from a few people here that may work for your version of the game.

1)- when you get to the map and start the location quests,

a)- have everyone (before you load the map) on puppet mode (don't attack anyone and touch the location statue across the bridge before anything.

b)- watch the goblin and orc who are killing each other close by so they don't attack you.

c)- re loading a saved game does bugger all. There is no order but people elsewere suggest there is.


d)- the first statue is the only one with the problem so once you get that one..


say YEEEESSSS, save and send me the file so i don't put my fist through the screen.

e)- do what i am doing and ask for a link with the maker of the game and complain like hell.
