Dragon Form Help

I decided to start a new game as a completely overpowered druid, just for fun. I was doing the mission in which you must find out what happened to the Vigilant to cause it to sink/break/whatever. I entered the cove and turned into a dragon to try out the cool ability. However, when I tried to exit the cove, I ended up with a blank white screen that still had a menu bar. When I tried to rest, the game crashed. I attempted to repeat the incident in the same circumstances, and sure enough, the same thing happened. I loaded a saved game and left my character in his dragon form. I came back after about 3 hours (real time) and found he was still in his dragon form!!! According to the description, the effect is supposed to last for 1 hour gametime. Not only that, but many of the attack animations where out of sink with the actual attacking. For instance, I would see the damage I did about 2 seconds before the animation. This is a huge glitch and I was wondering if anyone knew a fix for it, as the druid is probably my favorite class.

I doubt that many people would have even seen this, because most people know that the Dragon form is severly gimped (even more gimped than any of the other forms) and therefore don't use it.

Of course it might be something specific to your setup anyway.
