Pentin... I swear I've had him working for me in ealier games but I can't find him. He's supposed to be at Old Owl Well, correct? I seem to remember him being a half-orc but I might be wrong. Either way, he's not at the well and I don't remember running across him in earlier exploits in the game. I'm in Act 2 and in the process of rebuilding and upgrading the Keep as much as possible before I continue with the storyline. If I missed a quest that I needed to do to get this guy, can I go back for it or what is the console command to add him to the Keep? Do you even NEED both miners to do all the upgrade? I already got Calindra.

Also... does Light of Heavens only appear once I reach Act 3? I don't remember when I found her before but so far I havn't seen her around Port Llast or Neverwinter.

You don't need Pentin - Calindra will suffice. You're supposed to rescue pentin from the orcs - then talk to him and then again after you get the keep. :D

Yes, LOH is available in act 3 iirc .

Remember when you bashed your way through a couple orcish tunnel complexes? Along the right side, I believe on the upper floor, you were supposed to find a couple of jail cells. One was supposed to contain Pentin & Co., who would then go wait for you at OOW. So if you can't get back to either the Bonegnashers or the Spleeneaters or Pancreasmunchers or whatever the other tribe is called, you'll have to find the code to spawn him into OOW. I don't know it.

I have read that if you have Calindra you get money, and if you have Pentin you get samples, and if you have both you get both. Also, once you do get Pentin at CK, don't ever talk to him again. Either he may leave, or you may get annoyed and just shove a +3 falchion up his wazzu.

Ah, OK. I don't believe I ever released any prisioners from the Orc strongholds; I was just bashing my way through and didn't look around too much. But if I don't need the second miner, no biggie. I don't think I can go back to the Orc locations at this point, anyway. Calindra works; she does give me samples + gold when she reports back from the mines.

Then all you lost was a few hundred XP. Sometimes it's pretty difficult to spot all the side hideaways in cave complexes. I think in the orc cave cases it's harder because you end up on semi-constant running battle as you move ahead, get in a fight, get ambushed from behind or the side, and just have to hope your people eventually waste everyone in sight so they can regroup on you. At that point you may have passed up a side door that you don't get back to noticing.
