View Full Version : Sunken Flagon Party rooster bug
I have both MotB and SoZ and i started OC again. The game crushes everytime I try to exit Flagon on my first visit, when the party rooster has to open for the firs time. The Roster in Soz worked fine, though I don't know about MotB.
Sorry I forgot to post it, but I dont know my game version, I think its, 1.13 (that's last patch update I have before SoZ) which I don't think it's updated.

Version that is down the screen is 1.020 (1541), but that's for Soz, right?
Hi Iraine,
The version listed actually refers to your complete game, OC, MoTB, and SoZ.
Do you have anything in your override folder, or your tlk folder?
I recommend removing any custom content you have for the time being and re-try the same scene.
Also, while you have these dissabled run your auto-updater. A patch/Hot fix has been released for some of the missing content.
What I do for testing purposes is, I rename the override folder to overridecurrent and create a new one called override. This way I can simply remove the word current from the name and add the word empty to the new one when I want to use my custom content. This works with any folder in your game.
override becomes overridecurrent
new folder is named override
To use custom content:
override becomes overrideempty
overridecurrent becomes override
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks, but I have updated the game and it's the same... If there is no fix, then I guess that I'll have to reinstall the game and hope it doesen't crash again. The funny thing is that I think that might just be my game, since when my brother tried playing, shortly before we installed SoZ, his OC game also crashed, but on a different place, whatever he did (it failed to open dialogue with Daeghun after he returned from the swamp).
Thanks anyway

Just out of curiosity - did you or your brother auto-update or manually patch?
I remember seeing the problem with Daeghun before and iirc it's either related to a problem caused by a missing module patch OR by a conflict with a .tlk or custom content file as sirchet pointed out.
Manually updating your game wouldn't eliminate a potential conflict from custom content, and if you miss those module updates, your patch wouldn't be complete.
Also, if you're running Vista. It is imperative that you run the game in xp compatibility mode and choose admin.
Right click the abstract device that starts the game.
Choose properties.
Click the compatibility tab.
Place a checkmark in the xp mode box, (should say sp2 below it).
Place a checkmark in the admin box, (on the bottom).
Select apply.
Select OK.
This will tell Vista to run the game with DX 9.c instead of DX 10, (Vista).
Try updating using the v1.22 beta (see the thread in the SOZ forums for the links) or wait for the v1.22 patch.

Known bug, should be fixed by updating the game to the latest version. :santa: It was reported during beta testing for the 1.21 post SoZ patch and has been fixed since. :santa:

Latest game version is 1.22 beta. :santa: Latest stable game version: 1.21.1549. :santa:

Run the autoupdater one more time or download the beta (English language only.) :santa: The game version is for the game; there is only one game (proof if you want to reinstall, you have to uninstall everything) with 2 Expansions so far. So, 1.20.1541 is the game version after you install SoZ. :santa:
