I'm still in Act I, I have Elanee in my party, and have just killed Moire. I haven't been able to find the shapeshifted wolf anywhere in the either the merchant or dock district. I don't see anything about a bug where he doesn't show up, but I have the OC, MoB, and SoZ installed and patched to 1.21.

Could someone tell me where this wolf is supposed to be? I don't remember having any difficulty finding him on my first playthrough (pre MoB). Also, is there any script to force the wolf to appear so that I can do the Skymirror quest before leaving for Old Owl Well?

The wolf is located in the western half of the docks district between a couple of building south south of Repko the merchant. It's the same area where a group of bladelings spawn.

Check out the OC map section and look for the docks district map. He's marked on there.

:D

Thank you for the clearer directions. I had already checked the OC maps section, but it was misleading. There are actually two sections of the docks that had a wolf label on them.

The first, in the NE section referred to the encounter of the street kid named Wolf. Until I had that encounter, I spent a fruitless hour trying to maneuver between buildings, looking for the injured canine lupus.

The second part, was labeled bladelings & wolf, and since I had been attacked by bladelings already, and found no wolf, I guessed that perhaps that wolf was part of the combat that I failed to notice (I didn't notice the bladelings attacking me until half were already dead.)

In case it helps someone else, I would like to mention that the 1.21 patch introduced a new bug to the Skymirror quest that the wolf gives you. Without giving away spoilers, let me just say that the workaround is to use Elanee to cast the necessary spells, but do not have her touch what she casts them on. Have your main char touch the necessary objects. This will prevent blank dialog boxes from opening (that prevents you from doing anything) and forcing you to alt-tab out of the game.

ROTFLMAO

I never even thought of that - thanks for pointing that out. We'll have to fix that one. :D
