Listed below are rules for posting on this website:
Preamble
In any Thieves-Guild there are two main rules.
1. Don't get caught!
2. Have fun!
Blatant disregard for the rules of conduct and/or warnings from the site moderators can result in banning. We don't like banning people but we can and will do it if necessary.
Rules of Conduct
1. The use of swearing, racial slurs, threats, or any other form of malicious language is forbidden.
2. There will be no fighting or flaming on the forums. You can argue, but keep it civil. And remember, everybody has a right to their opinion.
3. The practice of drawing silly noses, eyes, and mustaches, on the pictures of Administrators and Moderators is strictly prohibited.
4. The use of nudity, pornographic material, racial profiling material, ads, and other such material, that is not suitable for the general audience, is not permitted for the use of avatars, or any other pictures, photographs, or drawings.
5. Links for ads, porn, personal websites, or any other unsuitable sites are forbidden.
6. There are to be no offers of sharing any form of copyrighted files, Warez, p2p, or links to such materials or sites.
7. Please make sure your post is made in the proper forum for that subject.
8. The use of laptops for posting in public bathrooms is not allowed.
9. Make your "Subject" and your message clear and legible. We can't help you if we can't read it or decipher it.
10. Please refrain from typing your post in all 'CAPS'. It is equivalent to yelling, and is not acceptable.
11. If you are going to make a post, then post a specific subject with a substantial message. Posts with short messages like, {Hi, Lol, Bye, etc), will be deleted.
12. Please refrain from eating snacks while posting, as the time spent each day cleaning the forum floor is increasing. And for those of you who are Clerics, your "Create Food" spell, has been disabled.
13. Please stay on the subject of the original post. If you wish to discuss something else, start another thread.
14. PLEASE, learn to use the search option first, when you are looking for a particular subject. Look thru the content blocks as well. If you have searched, and still can't find it, then post.
15. Belching, farting, and other rude noises, though not condemned, may be offensive to the other members.
16. If you feel the need to add something to a post you just made, please use the edit option. There is NO time limit on the use of the edit function. Don't make another post. Automerged double posts are subject to deletion at the moderator's whim.
17. In the upper right hand corner of a post is a box with an exclamation point in it. Please use this to report bad posts.
18. Please do not quote excessively large bodies of text with one or two sentence replies. Edit the quote to a manageable size.
19. Please refrain from posting overly large images. Use thumbnails images to link to a larger image if at all possible. Images should be less than 520 pixels wide x 400 pixels.
20. Please don't feed the trolls. :eek:
