Hello for some reason my saved games has lost! There is a folder in the nwn2/saves folder with the name of my save but all the files inside are lost! And didnt do anything like clearing my pc with a programm or something...any ideas?Just arrived in neverwinter city!I cant play again from the start :(
Is there any way to ascape the first areas?

It's really puzzling, unless there is a save game corruption at work that perpetuates itself through all save games.

Maybe a clean reinstall of the game would help? As I see it, there is either something major screwed up with your installation or with your OS or with other installed software.

Try the reinstall route: Uninstall, wipe out any left over folders, reinstall and patch to the latest.

As for avoiding the initial areas, there are technically ways to do that, but it's far easier to just replay from scratch.

If you read the instructions of manual patcher carefully and followed them exactly, there shouldn't have been a problem. Also, if you patch manually, make sure you get the right patches:

Patches starting with nwn2_pc_ in the name are for the original game only (OC), while those with nwn2_pcx1_ in the name are for OC + MotB.

If you have OC + MotB, you will need first of all the modfix patch NWN2_PCX1_MODFIX_FROM1007 88_TO105912.zip (http://vnfiles.ign.com/nwvault.ign.com/fms/files/nwn2other/19/NWN2_PCX1_MODFIX_FROM1007 88_TO105912.zip) and apply that first, then all pcx1 patches and apply them in the correct order, starting with the oldest to the newest.

Ooops. Sorry Paoki - I thought you were using the auto-patcher. If hi-speed downloads aren't an issue I recommend using the auto-patcher. There is much less chance of any confusion occuring by grabbing the wrong patch.

You could request a save game, then read http://www.thieves-guild.net/forum/nual/misc/sticky.gif Sticky: [Howto] - Replace your main character with another (without losing anything) (http://www.thieves-guild.net/forum/showthread.php?t=253) and follow the instructions in there. Of course, there is a certain risk involved, so make sure your antivirus is functioning and updated to the latest virus definitions.
