how to kill the dragon

hi

im currently trying to kill both the dragon and the fire giants.. and im not doing well... so how do I defeat the dragon? im a 11 ranger, 1 wizard and 4 AA

Energy Immunity: Fire is an absolute essential so take along a spell caster for that buff

THen add Khelgar and Casavir as front line tanks. Have Khelgar and casavir go toe to toe with Big T, while you pelt him with arrows. Zhjaeve can supply healing and Sand or Qara can spam him with GIMs (issac's greater missile storm). If necessary Sand, Zhaejve and/or Qara may need to bring down some of his buffs as well. :D

I think I used Khelgar, Qara, the Construct, and Neeshka. Neeshka tried to sneak to the loot but the Dragon attacked her, and everyone else came out firing... Khelgar and the Construct rushed him, my Ranger flanked and started shooting like crazy, and I let Qara do her thing. Neeshka actually wasn't killed, so I had her flank the other side of the Dragon....

I think the Construct did the most damage... everything else was a decoy.

Constuct is indeed the most useful member of the party against the dragon IMX (although by no meens compulsary). Also remember that red dragons are vulnerable to cold (+50% damage) and immune to fire (Duh:D ). They have massive spell resistance, so make sure youre casters are tooled up (robes of the arch magi are useful here).

I played fighter-wizard and here is how i took down the dragon. I buffed khelgar and Casavir with greater mage armors, stoneskins, fire immunity and heroism. Then I cast assay resistance on the dragon. I spammed the dragon with empowered ice storms while the fighters just charged. He went down real fast :)
