View Full Version : Opening the official campaign maps
Well, i didnt really know where to put this thread but here goes.
I remember vaguely that you were able to open the official campaign maps in NWN 1. How do you do that in NWN 2 if possible?
hi there,
what exactly do you mean?
did you try pressing "M"?
cheers

Ehhm, well i cant seem to find the place where the official campaign maps are located, and so i cant really open them in the editor.
So some help in that direction would be largely appreciated:)

Unlike normal user made modules, the OC can't be found in your documents, but in the actual map you installed NWN2.
By default, that would be: C:/Program Files/Atari/Neverwinter Nights 2/Modules/...
Hope that helps?
Heh, funny. Thanks.
I figured out what was wrong by the way. Somehow my computer mistook them for winamp files and didnt let me see them in the "open" menu. But they were there when i opened the folder.
Problem corrected and thank you:)

.mod files are usually used by winamp ;)
It shouldnt have prevented you from seeing them in the toolset open module though
Well, here we go again. Now i beat up the King of Shadows (On hard mind you...) and i want to try again, only making it a little harder this time. So i have modified the dear king of shadow to be a little meaner.
BUT when i save, it saves the entire map as a bloody folder... *sigh* i long for the days when these things were simple... Can anyone tell me how to save the map as an actual *.mod file? Even when i save it as a .mod file it still places it as a folder?
