View Full Version : Qara's father is...
I dont get it, Sydney says that Qara's father owns the academy...her sidequest seems completely unfinished actually. After you kill sydney, theres nothing more you can do?
... pssst! .... kill Qara? Not sure about Qara's father being the head of the Academy part, really. I was under the impression that Johcris had that title ... :wtf: :vine:

Johcris and Qara's dad are both heads of diferent houses of the academy.
Qara's story does tapper off, with no real finish(even if you do Kill her!)
I noticed that while I was playing.
=/
Qara's story is never finished.
And while I don't like Qara very much, that kind of upset me.
You kill Sydney, save Qara's hindquaters and... that's it.
Anyone have any guesses as to why the gamemakers ended it like that?

It's very obvious that they rushed at the end in making this game. Look at the endings of this game - everything else is cut scenes; the ending is still pictures with a voice over that pronounces everything differently from the other voice actors in the game. Bishop, Qara, Grobnar, Zjaeve, Casavir - all their sidequests (if they have one!) feel completely unfinished. Neeshka and Bishop have some lines that obviously were meant to lead towards romance...and that's gone. The gamemakers rushed this out before it was finished, and it shows.

The companion material (side quests, romance et all) all stink of classic "after-thought syndrome".
:(
I mean, does Johchris just forget what Qara did to his daughter? Do Sand and Qara just hate each other? Why do you just get two options (yes or no) with the romances?
They could have just spent a few more hours on these and more, and they might have been integral parts of the game. As it is, I only realy bother if it's in character (IE not that often!)
