Is there a way to get back to the CK escape tunnel after you gain control of the Keep? I had a weird bug with the tunnel. I found the ore deposit, but it was not "clickable", it had shiny star, but would not let me choose it. I thought I would come back for it, but now I don't see it as an option on my worldmap.
Second question or validation....Guyven does not show up in your keep until after ACT II, correct. I met him 3 times and after Ember said to come by my fire anytime. Got the Captain of Keep and came back from rite of purification but He is not there. I read in the CK help section, and if I understand correctly he will not show up uintil after Jerro's Haven right? Funny thing about Guyven; I found him at the Gith base, one of the Gith laid a firewall spell after each encampment, so after I talk to Guyven, He runs off through the firewall and dies,:eek: He dropped a gem and I thought I had lost him for good, I was so happy to see him in Ember ;)

No, not unless you have a save handy and want to try again. After you exit, the area is gone for good. Don't sweat it too much though, if it is only this one ore deposit. There are enough ore deposits in Act III to upgrade your soldiers equipment.

ouch, first of all, he appears at CK pretty much after you encounter him for the last time in Ember, he is occupying the cell where Zhajve was imprisoned.
ok, that incident where he died running into the fire trap is best avoided by taking the shortcuts (see this map (http://www.thieves-guild.net/index.php?pid=239#Githyan kiApproach)for details[/URL]), this way the Githyanki don't get to fire them. And I'm also pretty sure that you have to talk to him before leaving for the Haven, to trigger the whole Explorer title thing. ;)

If I remember right, that was the case in NWN 1 & KOTOR, or am I just confused. I try not to modify anything until having ran through the game a first time. I just really enjoyed the Guyven encounters and want him around. Just need to know for sure that he is supposed to be in that room in Act II or not....

No. (or at least it hasn't for me) I've had to use the console repeatedly to verify item codes, spawn in for Guyven etc. and haven't run into any issues with using the console codes. :D
Epirote is correct. Guyven should definitely show up before you go to the Haven. Apparently when you talk to him the last time at Ember, you need to select the "You will always have a place at my fire" option the FIRST time it appears or for some reason he doesn't appear. :D If you have to resort to spawning, you need to leave the Keep area and then re-enter (the ENTIRE keep - including the farmlands) before he shows up. :D
I must have chosen the "sit by my fire" second. It's off to the console fix. Thanx again for the help:o
Whew, he is in the keep!
I talked to him, said I would like to hear his secrets ,asked about his maps, etc. He said he would to leave a legacy, or something. Is this all I need from him, or is there a mission update in the journal?

Every time you come to an area that he is interested in you will get a message regarding this. Afterwards, when you return to the Keep talk to him and report the area or areas, you have found. There are 4 areas total. When you have reported 2 areas, he will tell you of secret stash outside the keep. When you have reported all areas you will gain the title of Explorer. Can't remember the other titles, just one Pathfinder or some such.
