Audolo

I have searched the forums and I cannot find anything relating to the use of Audolo for PW's. Can someone point me to any relevant posts, or, if there are none currently, can anyone who uses this tool give some detailed info on their useage?

I am currently looking at employing Audolo for our PW but I am having a bit of difficulty understanding the instructions as English is apparently not the author's primary language.

Sorry, I only used it once to get to a PW. A bit later I also used WorldGate, which I still keep in use for an other PW. I am also not really sure what you are asking for. I tried to install Audolo today again, but apparently I need to unpack the contents of the compressed file into the game install directory, not sure if it will work in the My Documents folder. I know one of the two screwed up my game once - I had to reinstall - or it was the PW I was visiting, not really sure ...

Well... I am trying to decide if I should be using it or if there is an alternative. And, if I use it, I am wondering exactly how to set it up for players to use. The author gives some instruction about its use, but it isn't very clear and I don't want to sound like I am bashing the guys english.

What is worldgate?

Worldgate is similar to audolo and would be the alternative. I think the only thing you need to provide the user with is the link to the updates. The user then puts this link into audolo or worldgate and the program downloads all necessary files.

Thanks for the info on Worldgate Epirote. That looks to be a better way to go as they have tutorials and much clearer instructions.

You're welcome. I'd recommend it, too, as it seems by default to download all necessary files to the My Document folder of the game. IIRC, Audolo does the opposite.
