Can anyone help me? I got the quest for the betrayer tomb, but i don't know where to find it. Can anyone point out the location for me?

The betrayer tomb should show up on your mini-map as soon as you leave the temple of tyr and you have the quest. If you are still having problems finding it I've found that hitting "M" to bring the big map up helps alot. Otherwise, it's in the corner past the temple in the upper right.

ok after killing frenthik (the little bastard, ive played nwn and know the story :D ) i decided to look around and loot if theres anything to loot. ive come to a bigger room with two altars on left and right and a little gate which is locked. my thief cannot unlock it DC 99.

but everytime i come close that gate two tomb guards approach and start attacking. those guards are quite hard. what can i do to make them stop coming? and how am i able to open that gate?

thanks :)

cheers

Just past the door you entered thru you will see 3 rectangular areas set into the floor. Have your rogue take command of the party and advance everyone until they are standing in the center area. That area is a pressure plate that will open the locked gate. Issue the "hold your ground" command, so that the pressure remains activated. Then have your rogue run through the open grate, loot the chest and run back out.

For all that trouble the loot isn't that great.

I suggest you initiate this quest with Neeshka in your party. (And possibly Casavir - although I haven't tried it with him).

To initiate this quest - talk to Judge Orleff (Room on the left of the Temple of Tyr).

Ask him "What do you do here?"
Ask him "Are you all right?"

Tell him you help him find the missing priest (+1 shift to good)
Tell him you promise NOT to loot the tombs (+1 shift to lawful)
Tell Neeshka that you wouldn't let anyone loot HER tomb (+1 influence gain with Neeshka)

Now go ahead and rescue the priest
Return to Orleff for your reqard. ONLY take what he promised you.

Now restart the dialogue and follow the same dialogue path as before - you gain all three shifts ENDLESSLY (although NOT the reward).

Great way to recover from chaotic shifts if you are playing lawful, and a HUGE influence booster for Neeshka.

Be caareful using this if you need to stay in a NG, NE or NN mode or a CE, CG, or CN mode. :)

Anyone else encounter this?

Loot away - the game only punishes your alignment if you SAY you are going to loot - you can still grab whatever you want. They should have programmed the game in such a way that your actual ACTIONS dictate the alignment shift not what you say. Telling someone that you absolutely positively give your word that you won't loot and THEN doing it should give you a double hit on alignment - whereas if you tell the guy upfront, oh yeah, we'll save your priest and oh by the way, you can kiss any loot goodbye - should get you a smaller shift.

BTW, try out the dialogue loop and see if you get the same thing. Trying to see if this is a bug in the game code or just a glitch in MY game.
