So far I've played through 4 modules, and I really enjoyed the current top two, Harp & Chrysanthemum and Moonshadows - Chapter One... I'm somewhat surprised that Night Howls in Nestlehaven has yet to receive a vote I really enjoyed playing through that one as well. I didn't care much for the last module I played, however I won't disclose which one.

Can anyone recommend some other must have modules? Aside from the bottom three on the list, which I plan on downloading and playing... :)

Is there some info about invalid votes somewhere?

I only played Harp & Chrysanthemum (henceforth: H&C) and that in cartography mode, which means I was many levels higher than the devs intended the mod to be played. I haven't played any others really, except for Pella's mod, which is not even on the list, yet.

I can recommend you mods that lurchman has written reviews about and mods that I have personally played. A Secret in Stone, I have played and lurchman has written a review about. Top five at IGN Vault is usually a good place to look.

Thanks kgambit!

I would vote but I just signed up @ NWVault about a week or so back :( . Where'd you find the polling results anyway, I can't seem to find them?

-EDIT-

Thanks Epirote, I will definitely hit up a few of the other top modules over @ NWVault, but every now and again a good mod with a great story gets rated low because it's not polished(grammar, AI, ect). So I was hoping someone with a wide range of single player module(s) experience could perhaps point out some of the more underrated mods... :)

I'll never vote on their site again, if they don't fix their voting bot. My question is why is it, that I can vote on Greek sites and the sites remembers until the poll ends that I have voted and does not even permit me to vote, not to mention that the initial vote remains valid?

The instructions are CLEARLY spelled out. One person - one vote! ANY attempt to vote more than once invalidates your initial vote. So why the angst? The idea was to prevent people from spamming the voting by voting for more than 1 module or for the same module more than once, AND to invalidate ANY of their votes should they attempt to do either. I don't see why you are upset at NWVault over it. It's NOT like the instructions are not clear. The method they chose to use is perfectly valid. If you have an issue with it, send them a pm about it. :D

And on a different note, Zach Holbrook and Alex Hugon who designed the Harp & Chrysanthemum and Moonshadows modules respectively were involved in making Mysteries of Westgate. I think that bodes well for MoW. :D

Congratulations to Zach Holbrook for a well earned honor. :D

And congrats to Markus "Wayne" Schlegel, Alex "Hugie" Hugon and Adam Miller for taking Gold, Silver, and Bronze for the next three places. :D

Well done guys!

An excellent group of modules all around.

Isn't it odd that only 183 votes were cast, when thousands of people downloaded these works?

I wish more people would get involved in the gaming community, it is rewarding and FUN.

<done ranting> :D

no, 183 were valid votes, the votes total was not announced on the page I used to get the results.

ROTFL Well said!

I'm not surprised though. Most people don't register on game sites like NWVault, Gamebanshee or others. Even here we only have a fraction of our registered members active at any one time.

Sadly, usually the only time you hear from the majority of the people is when they have a problem making something work.

Oh well, some do stay after receiving quality help, (like offered here at The Thieves Guild")...did I earn some brownie points? heh heh :p

ROTFL Yeah about a thousand brownie points. Unfortunately our admin has not yet installed the brownie point redemption program yet .......
