Ok... first off I want to thank you all for this site. Only one that I have found that has been able to answer the few questions that I have had. Second off... Has anyone had any problems with the "World Map Transformation"?? I already am quite aware that my system is just barely able to run the game, but, ten to fifteen minutes to change areas??? That seems to be a bit much even on my POS system. Comments??? Third off... THANKYOU ALL AGAIN FOR THIS WEBSITE!!!!! GREAT SITE!!! :santa:

Thank you for your kind words. As for your problem, yes, your lodad times are a bit off and I don't have a solution at the moment. Also it would help if you post your PC configuration here. Motherboard, CPU, graphics card, operating system version, that kind of stuff. :santa:

It is a Dell craptop  ... I mean laptop, sorry, typo... no need to say much more than that I think. Wish I could afford Alienware... >sigh< :(

By the way... I do not count this question as one that I found t-g.net for. This one just annoyed me badly so I thought I would mention it. ROFLMAO

I think your problem is a shortage of Ram. The game will try and load so much of the game into ram, and then continue. When you don't have enough, it will use memory set aside on your HD. This can really slow things down. You should have at least 1.5 gigs of ram. How much less you have, will determine how slow it loads.

LOL... I know that my machine is barely able to run the game... but even then 15 minutes is too long. I fell asleep last night waiting for it to load. Woke up with keyboard forehead. No big deal... I just have to deal with it... and the slow loading of the areas too. ;)

Actually, you can get away with 1 Gig of RAM, but as lurchman said, when that is used up the game starts using the windows swap file. Also defrag often, helps in many games.
