Cleric/RDD

Hey guys just joined the forum i have to say I'm very impressed and the walk thru was really on point thanks and GJ on that one. I've played NWN and all the expansions but, I haven't played for a few years. I'm also fairly familiar with D&D just a quick Background.

Neway My question is:

I currently have a Monk which is cool and all but, I was torn cuz I wanted to play Cleric sooooo bad but, the trick was to get RDD. So this is more of a "is it possible to do" question and if so how.

I want the death domain w/Cleric for Power word Kill but I'd also like to have the RDD maxed so i can change into a dragon but inorder to do so you have to be a Sorc or Bard. Is it possible to:

1st lv Bard
2-10 Cleric
11-20 RDD

This will grant end lv spells as Cleric and I can go Destruction for Power word Kill. As well as get the Max RDD effect and xform into a Dragon.

Ok theres the question pls let me know if it's poss cuz whats throwing me off is I'll be way more of a Cleric than a Bard or Scor for that matter. I dont wanna level up 10 lvs just to find out I cant go RDD cuz I only have 1 lv of the required prereq.

Quick answer - yes you can

More in depth answer - but this will minimize your capabilities - why not forget the messing around and make it

Cleric 1-9
bard 10 (or even better - sorceror)
RDD 11 - 20

This way you are as powerful as possible 1-9 without diluting yourself too early.

If you want to play cleric sooooo bad I would recommend a cleric that can cast at least level 8 spell. If you want RDD you can only get level 5 spells. You gain some permanent +4/+4 AB/DAM but miss all the real fun about clericplay, he high level spells.

I would recommend cleric with warpriest prestige class. 16C/WP4 for level 9 spellcaster. I played a Pally2/C12/WP6 with level 8 spellcasting, but better defences (saves) and BAB.

Save the RDD until you want to play fighter :)
